We are a voluntary body, a committee of parents working alongisde Long Itchington CofE Academy to raise funds to support and enhance our children’s education.
For donations outside of any particular fundraising events, please see our Piggy Bank below. We are always very grateful for the support shown by parents, the children and local community.
2023/2024 Fundraising Focus
We work closely with the school to identify specific projects we can support. This year, we have two main areas of fundraising focus.
Further development of the school pond area
Examples of how any funds raised will be used will include the;
- initial clear-up of the pond and surrounding area
- purchase of equipment required to keep up regular maintenance
- purchase and installation of safety apparatus such as fencing
- purchase of learning apparatus such as nets, tanks for observations etc.
- any other equipment or maintenance deemed necessary to make this a safe outdoor learning environment for pupils
Additional IT equipment
As part of the school expansion project due to begin in Summer 2023, the school will gain a new IT room.
We will be raising and allocating funds for the purchase of new laptops, additional iPads and a laptop trolley.
Past Support
Our past fundraising projects have allowed the School Association to fund the purchasing of;
- New interactive whiteboards for each classroom
- iPads to allow enough for 1 between 2 children
- 2 Buddy Benches
- Library refurbishment and calm space
- Large seating placement rug for Reception classroom
